In February 2011, history was made in the fleet driving sector when a company was fined £385,000 following a fatal incident where that company had failed to take precautionary measures to prevent a health and safety risk. Throughout history, many companies have also been stung with high fines and penalties for similar reasons.

DTS Driver Training provides Fleet / Occupational Driver Training (DVSA approved) - and as part of the training, one of our fully qualified DVSA Approved Fleet Trainers can deliver presentations to small and large groups of employees, provide company and safety information to them, answer any questions, help carry out licence & eyesight checks for individuals, assist with vehicle & safety checks, provide demonstration drives as well as on the road assessments and training. On the road training is usually on a one-to-one or two-to-one basis and is usually carried out in the company car, van, bus or lorry. The company will also receive full written reports of the trainees' progress and any further training recommendations.
