Here, we discuss the attitude & behaviour of road users in the modern world and how vulnerable it makes us all. We look at coping mechanisms, defensive driving and how to constantly assess and mitigate risk in a fast paced environment. In this course we also look at eco-driving and how to drastically save driving costs.

Blues & twos and loud sirens can be quite intimidating. Do you know what to do if you come across an emergency response vehicle? Do you know how you can help and where you stand within the law when you cross that red light? Here we explore what to anticipate, your options as a driver and how you can help save lives.

Why do so many drivers miss cyclists and motorbikes, or even pedestrians? What techniques can we as drivers improve on? In this fascinating session, we look at the science of visibility... what our eyes see versus what our brain tells us. How does our brain calculate speed and distance in a split second?

Here, we explore some of the most common and most dangerous drugs used, and how they affect our nervous systems. We also look at cultural drinking habits, how long it takes for alcohol units to leave our systems and the "myths". Does eating after a night out or having a cold shower the morning after really sober you up?

Do you know what to do if you're involved in a RTC or come across one? When would you attempt a "snatch rescue"? How do you dynamically assess risk? Could you keep someone alive until the emergency services arrive? Which phone apps can be useful in such a crucial situation?
