Due to the rapid success of our national award-winning driving school, we are seeking highly motivated, ambitious and forward-thinking trainee driving instructors to join our team of coaching experts and train to become a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI), with a guaranteed position at DTS Driver Training.

Salary example, £60,060 - £70,200 before outgoings... based on a 30-hour working week (you can work more or less), based on our current hourly rates for manual driving lessons for learner drivers.

As part of a team, you will have the opportunity to train with the best in the industry, and get your career off to a flying start. We will supply the best PDI training with the best resources available and expert advice.

Upon qualifying, and as a self-employed position, you will be in control of your own workload. You can choose to work the hours that suit you, and manage your own diary to suit your lifestyle.

You will not be "just a driving instructor" when you join us. There are many development opportunities  (with increased earning potential) within different vehicle categories, advanced driver training, conducting classes, fleet work, and even examining roles e.g. taxis... AND MORE.

Candidate must have the ambition to succeed in a highly skilled and challenging , but rewarding profession. As a DTS driver trainer, you will have a hands on role working with the team to develop our rapidly growing business while managing your own client base and maintaining the highest quality service to our customers.

As a DTS driver trainer, you will uphold the highest standards by taking a client-centred approach to your expert tuition. We are a small (and we wish to remain that way) but highly motivated team and a national award-winning driving school. We pride ourselves on providing the best possible service to our customers.

No two days are the same; in a typical day you can expect to help a diverse range of clients with different backgrounds, ages and challenges. When learning to drive, there is no "one size fits all" approach, so you will need to use your outstanding coaching and mentoring skills to get the best out of a driver (from learners to advanced drivers, and beyond).
